Oh, Romeo
I can say I am much matured now. For the past 20 years as an expatriate I learned so much about life away from love ones. I can say that I am a jack of all trades but master of none.
I am just a mere high school graduate. My first employment was on Nov. 3, 1969 wherein I am only 16 years and 9 months. I was hired by STN now PT&T just because of my connection or backer. I became a radio technician and after few years I was promoted to radio and carrier installer. I left the company in March of 1975 and joined the RTW market. By 1977 I joined Francisco Motors thru its dealer Rican Motors in Pampanga. I became the top salesman in my first year. I was pirated by a franchised dealer of General Motors as Branch Manager in Tarlac province. After few months I joined again a new marketing firm Carworld, now a franchised dealer of Mitsubishi. Because of misunderstanding with the management I left and joined Armak Motors as their Sales Manager for Central Luzon. The production of Armak Motors was more than doubled during my stint. After a year I joined Amante Motors with the same position.
Jan. of 1984,I decided to go out of the country for greener pasture, the kids are about to go to school. I left the Philippines last Nov. 6, 1984 as an Emergency Technician to join the Electricity Corporation of Saudi Arabia, a 100% government entity. By 1985 I became the only Electrical Safety Inspector of the company. 1995 I have to work as an electrical technician for only Saudi nationals are allowed to work with Safety and Security Dept. Now I am working as an Emergency Technician in the city of Hail, Saudi Electricity Company. Electricity Corp. and Sceco were absorbed by the new private company, Saudi Electricity Co.(SEC)
